Ahead of the car’s competition debut in just under two weeks time, Toyota has unveiled new livery for its TS030 Hybrids.
Set to compete at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the number 8 car shown above will be piloted by Anthony Davidson, Sébastien Buemi and Stéphane Sarrazin. In the No. 7 car drivng duty will be shared between Kazuki Nakajima, Alexander Wurz and Nicolas Lapierre.
Toyota will take to the track on June 16-17 with the cars being untested in racing conditions after the original test car was damaged too severely in practicing to compete at the recent six hour endurance race at Spa.
With the checkered flag in sight, Toyota will be challenged in the top-tier LMP1 class by other hybrid race cars developed by Audi.
